“Electro Florals is a still life series of flowers “painted” with different colored filters attached to a pen flashlight. The process for each image lasts over the span of a few minutes in total darkness. A small colored light source illuminates parts of the flower, rotating between different color filters to find the right match. Choice of color, light exposure, opacity of the flowers all determine the outcome of each experimental photograph.”
