Andrew Myers’ “Black Hole Series” is a series where he explores the use of gradient color and rotation along a circular path. Andrew immensely enjoys the subtleties that color provides as an emotion and a feeling. “Black Hole #2” has a vibrant carnation pink background, and a gradient complimentary color on wood chips. The “black hole” is made out of recycled wood chips on steel rods that creates a circular pattern. There’s a movement from high to low and from side to side.
