When viewed directly in front of the piece, the squares form an abstract pattern, and as you view it from side to side, the screws form the X and O pattern in each row.
ANDREW MYERS
“Moments in Color” is a series, where Andrew got to play around with color combinations and patterned shapes. Andrew immensely enjoys the subtleties that color provides as an emotion and a feeling. He used two background colors, and then a gradient complimentary color on the screws. The squares are made out of screws that make patterns and shapes, so there’s a movement from high to low and from side to side.
