“Last Light,” is both a social commentary and vision of hope. We are experiencing a mass crisis related to many issues that are currently facing humanity. We are trying to tackle disastrous conditions, such as climate change, war, the rice of populist nationalism, etc. Most of the population is disconnected and constantly bombarded with notifications by our cell phones. This photographic image represents presence, hope, and the beauty of life.

This image depicts a group of young Cubans playing ball in the middle of a thunderstorm. With lightening striking around the beach, everyone left the water and headed for the trees. This group chose to stay and revel in the moment, it reminds the artist of being a kid.
